Service Projects

We always have plenty of things to do around the ship that are worthy of being service projects, all you have to do is ask! Normal service projects are typically housekeeping type projects. By that I mean spiffing up areas of the museum where the general public visit or doing some extra cleaning in the sleeping and cooking areas where your group and others work. Sometimes we come up with something like arranging chairs and tables for a meeting or other special event. We might even have your group help our library staff arranging items in our library, ya' never know...

Please note that service projects will not be general maintenance of the ship because that is the responsibility of the ship's operating crew.

If your group wishes, we will provide documentation of the service project along with the amount of time worked if needed for advancement or credit purposes.

Special Service Projects

Special projects for advancement such as an Eagle Scout Project, are also available. Being an Eagle Scout myself helps me understand the importance and magnitude of this kind of project. My staff and I will do all that we can to help you pick a top notch project that will be something that influences and inspires others who see it for many years thereafter!
